On Saturday, one of our guys was cooking breakfast for our morning group. He was commenting on the inadequate size of the skillet he was using, and asked if it would be possible for us to get a larger pan for bulk cooking. He said that, in particular, he would love to have a “Wok” pan to work with.
Recognizing it is yard sale season, the next day I followed some signs to see what was available at a sale on the way to the gym. I prayed, “Lord, let me find what I need to find here,” on my way in. Skimming over the tables of items, I saw some kitchen items…but no pans. It was my first yard sale, and it’s common not to find what you’re looking for on your first stop. I began to sense this sale was a strike out for me. After glancing at the table behind me, I did encounter just one pan—a Wok, nonetheless!
God is good, and He provides!
