Ministry To Men
Next Chapter has three homes for men transitioning back into the community from incarceration, either in county jails or prison, or from treatment facilities for substance abuse and addiction. These homes, called Discipleship Homes, make up our Christian-living residential program for men where we take a holistic approach to support men through day-to-day life.
The mission of the Discipleship Homes is to assist, develop, and train men who have a desire to grow in Christ so that their lives become living testimonies to the ways of the Lord. Discipleship through teaching and modeling of scripture is at the heart of all that is done within the homes.
Men commit to stay in the Discipleship Homes for a minimum of 6 months and may stay for up to 12 months. The program has an emphasis on taking men from maintenance to mission. Through Bible studies, REBUILD Fatherhood groups, devotionals, counseling, and life together men can gain an understanding of Christian doctrine, rebuild family relationships, discover their gifts, and learn to disciple others.
