I first became involved with Next Chapter Ministries when I was asked to mentor a young high school student active in the Next Chapter teens program. I could not have asked for a more enriching experience than to be a part of this young man’s life and eventually with his entire family. This relationship allowed me to spend time with the other teens in the program; an area of ministry that God has given me a passion for. This then led to joining the board almost 5 years ago now. My marriage to Allison of 32 years has blessed with two adult boys, Colin and Connor, who love Jesus and are now married. When I’m not substitute teaching in the Rochester Public Schools or volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House or delivering Meals on Wheels - then we are traveling and participating in several medical outreach opportunities around the world through great organizations through Mayo, Samaritan’s Purse - Children’s Heart Project & For Hearts and Souls. When we are in Rochester, we enjoy cycling the streets and biking trails of southeastern Minnesota.
